• Panic alarm: Unlike the Mini Homing Tags, this Tag has a button on it. When put in the Alert mode (only available on the Loc8tor plus the button can be pressed on the tag and a signal is then sent to the handheld to show that the tag (person) is in distress or needs attention. This is perfect for a child or dependant to call for help.
• Small, convenient size: Currently the smallest active RFID tag of its kind on the market. Using the lanyards or sticky tabs provided, the Panic Tags can be easily attached to almost anything. Also, being only 5 grams makes the tag a non hindrance to put on cat or dog collars or light enough to put in a radio control plane or attach to your mp3 player.
• Long battery life: The easily replaceable batteries will last a few months even with frequent use.
• Indoor or outdoor reliability: By using radio waves that are capable of going through walls and doors to communicate with the handheld means that they will work almost anywhere, indoors or out.
• Great range: With a clear line of sight, a range of up to 600 feet/183 metres can be achieved. Loc8tor has the best performing homing tags of its kind currently on the market. Range does get affected by the immediate environment. 
• Guide: Audio bleeps and flashing LED on the tag ensure you find it when you are close.
• Locate and Alert: Tag can be used in Locate and Alert modes

- 183 metre / 600 feet range is based on clear line of sight. Actual range will vary depending on use, environment and location.

- Loc8tor mode has been designed to help find your possessions. It should not be relied on to find people.

- Alert mode has only been designed to act as an aid to warn against items getting misplaced or stolen. It is not a replacement for parental supervision.

- Panic Tags are NOT water resistant. If you require the unit to be used outdoors, water proofing measures will have to be taken.
